When I saw that i heart faces was going to do a contest on babies, I realized that I had the PERFECT image. It’s adorable and the baby was less than one day old.
I’ve had the distinct pleasure of going to the hospital for three of my friends to capture first family photos…those taken within 24 hours of birth. With c-sections, you can’t do birth photos, but these sessions were just as meaningful. The awe, excitement, and sheer terror of new parenthood is palpable and beautiful! Going through the images, I always tear up and get an online gallery to the clients within hours so they can send them around to family and friends and get those suckers up on Facebook immediately! Here’s an image from my first hospital session…which to this day is still one of my all-time favorites!
