Spring Has Sprung

I love how the sun stays out longer, how colorful flowers are in bloom, and how everyone I seem to know is preggo. The vineyards bubble with activity, neighbors spend more time socializing outdoors, and how my favorite bloggers seem to have a renewed purpose these days. Don't you?!

NO HOME OFFICE? NO PROBLEM!

I had a mixer in my home late last week for portrait photographers. We had a fantastic time talking shop and exchanging ideas. At one point, a couple of the gals had a question about websites, so I invited them into my bedroom, where my desk and computer are. As you know, I don’t quite live in a castle yet, so I make do with having a cute desk are in the corner of my room. It’s functional and elegant and for now it’s fine. Having said that, several of the gals remarked about how small my workspace was!

For many of us small home dwellers, a home office just isn’t an option, but that’s not a problem! There are all sorts of beautiful work space solutions that can exist in other rooms, whether they be a bedroom or living room. Heck, you can even turn a closet into a mini office!

When I came home from the desert last night, I had quite a bit of mail, including a catalog from Home Decorators and oddly enough, my eye was instantly drawn to another PERFECT small home office solution. I’ve heard of and seen Murphy Beds for years, but this is the first Murphy Desk I’ve ever seen and I totally love it!
