Like all bloggers, I started blah blah blahging for my own edification and because I thought that maybe my out of town friends and family might enjoy reading what I’ve been up to or what kind of projects I’ve conquered around my house. Then I started to get a little bit better at it. Then I started to get readers. And THAT’S when paranoia set in.
I’m pretty well adjusted about my little space on the interwebs. I’m not competitive or judgmental (much) and for the most part, I blog for me. But SOMETIMES, I’ll spend time writing something that I feel pretty good about and then when I don’t get comments, I wonder what the point was. I realize that I’ve got a few “niches” that I write about, which is fine by me. I’m not writing to get published or to gain followers and make money, but rather about my own interests, knowing that I read all varieties of blogs, too!
Having said that, I’m really interested in what you all enjoy here. Maybe I won’t include much photography talk in the future. Maybe my readers DON’T like it when I talk about wine {GASP!}. Maybe my readers started coming here for posts about house projects, but now that those have been on the back burner lately, they’ve gone elsewhere. I’m just curious. And frankly, enquiring minds want to know! So please take the short poll below.

I blog for the same reasons you do. I just like to keep things organized and let folks know what’s going on with me. I so admire your different hobbies, interests and most of all talents. Keep blogging about what YOU want to write down. Don’t change a thing in my opinion. Love you just the way you are and I love your writing. While my blog is specifically niche’d for the single ladies, I do try and add my own twist of humor and cynical views. Keep going my friend, keep going.

i ready blogs mostly because i’ve developed a relationship with that person and like to know what’s going on in their every day lives. i rarely read niche blogs. however, i do love your photography tips. i’d love to know your favorite photography blogs. i read i heart faces and mcp actions blog.

Truthfully I love everything about your blog. But most of all I love that I have met you. Yeah I know it was only for a couple of hours but, I feel like through that day and then many days of reading your blog and following you on twitter, I in some weird way, feel like I know you more.
