35 BY 35 #1 has been accomplished!!! I’ve had the bottle of dye for about a week now and I finally pulled the trigger to give it a try. My friend Barbie was over today and we were watching a movie and I decided just to go for it! As you can see below, I was SUPER nervous. Turns out, I didn’t need to be!
The color is pretty similar to what I’ve had all along – a reddish brown – but just a little warmer in tone than I’ve previously had. I did a good job of applying the foam over my greys in front, but could have been a little more careful on the sides. Those greys stay covered for the most part due to my natural hair style, but I’ve definitely learned a lesson for next time!
My hair smells really nice, didn’t fall out like I was sort of afraid, and feels really soft and not terribly processed. I’d say that’s a pretty darn good turn out for my first try at home hair care. : )
For the record, my hair is not styled…just blow dried. I couldn’t wait to see the end result!
That’s my life every four weeks like clockwork. . .it used to be every six, but thirty-five did some damage in the gray department: ) The color looks nice! Glad you had a good home color experience: )

Omgoodness, I love your face in the first picture. So funny!! I’m glad it worked out well. Two of my best friends dye their own hair and have never had problems. Way to go!! Glad it went well!!
