Every year around this time, my friends and I head up to God’s country for some waterskiing and winetasting. We call it AWaWWe, which stands for the Annual Waterskiing and Winetasting Weekend. We rent a house on the lake that sleeps about 14 people, get up at the crack of dawn for good water, then mosey on back to the house for breakfast. Throughout the day, we camp out on the shore, taking turns in the boat, and at night we cook together and sometimes watch movies. We also like to get crazy with the game Apples to Apples. And there’s always a 30 second dance break.
On Saturday, we head down to the west side of Paso for some scrumptious wine tasting. The region is known for Zinfandel wines and Rhone Style wines. There’s literally something for everyone on this trip.
And that’s where I’m off to today. It’s okay…you can be jealous!
