I spent yesterday with my grad school pal and partner in DIY crime, Living with Lindsay. I love that I can email her out of the blue and invite myself to hang out. She is a sweet girl with a huge heart and I’m so glad we crossed paths 12 years ago in DC!
We grabbed breakfast with her darling girl then ran down to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I’ve been seeing her post about this place for years so I was thrilled to head on down there. She has a plan and needed a couple of specific things so I was thrilled to be a part of her shopping excursion. And we found something fabulous for her to work on!
Sometimes old friendships are just the best! The girl kept me laughing with stories and she wowed me with her home projects! I sure do wish we lived closer together…I’d LOVE to have a DIY partner in crime close by!
