Rachel says I have Bambi eyes…which no one has ever said to me before. I’ve heard that phrase a number of times, but I’ve never known what it meant.
So I did what everyone does…consulted Google.
1. Having wide-open, innocent-appearing eyes: doe-eyed children gazing at the shelves of candy.
2. Credulous and unsophisticated; naive: “Many doe-eyed investors go bankrupt within a year, sometimes by expanding too fast, sometimes because of pure ignorance” (Scott Baldauf).
I really hope that she’s calling me definition #1 and not #2!
I also really hope that I don’t look like one of the images that I found which allegedly describes “doe-eyed!”

First off-that picture is CREEPY.
Secondly-I meant it as a huge compliment. You have these gorgeous eyes and I noticed them in the most recent profile pic of you and the gentleman caller and was like, “WOW! Those are so pretty!”
You will be the only one who has pretty eyes when we are all old. All the rest of us will have eyelids that are drooping into our soup!
I believe Judy Garland was described as Doe Eyed…just sayin.
Umm..I believe I have told you that many times, Bambi eyes!
