Food and I have an interesting history. I discovered Weight Watchers several years ago, and for the most part, live by its principles. For me, the system works. I love being able to go online and find new recipes to try or to even upload old standards to find out the points per serving. I’m not obsessive about staying on target and definitely enjoy a night out chowing down on an incredible meal. On a healthy eating scale of 1 to 10, I’d probably give myself an 8. I’ve been incorporating more fruits and vegetables, eating smaller meals of lean protein, and I avoid buying snacks or dessert foods.
With that said, I have been known to go off the deep end so far that I can’t even see the surface – and once in a while, that’s fine with me!
During two of these instances, however, I woke up, jumped on the scale for the bad news and was lighter than the day before. It shocked me, but then the scientist in me, ahem, decided to try it again and found the same thing to be true.
When I drink an entire bottle of this
I am two pounds lighter the next day.
And when I eat an entire box of these
I am 1 to 2 pounds lighter the next day.
Yes, I am a freak and yes, I have tested these theories a few too many times (usually when I’m hormonal), but dang, getting skinny that way tasted GOOD.
I’m pretty sure JHud would be horrified by this development…and that you probably are, too. But, it’s Wednesday…and I’ve always found Wednesdays to be good days to confess my dirty little secrets.
