Early last week, I received an email inviting me to attend a special wine tasting event at Room & Board in Costa Mesa. Being that I love wine and high end furniture, it didn’t take me long to jump right on this and say YES!

I’ve walked through Room & Board before and know that their furniture suites are artistic, beautiful, and pricey. The design of the store is gorgeous and they’ve created living rooms throughout. It was the perfect place for a wine tasting event!

Prior to the event, I hadn’t heard of Cameron Hughes wines. However, I now know they are sold at Costco and are priced very modestly – with that said, you’d never know it! I REALLY enjoyed the Arroyo Secco Chardonnay and Moscato d’Asti. The chard was full bodied and buttery. The moscato was effervescent and tasty on a hot day.

The Cameron Hughes brand makes, imports, and distributes ultra-premium wine under five wine brands; The Lot Series, The Flying Winemaker, Hughes Wellman, Frunza, and Zin Your Face. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for these yummy wines in the near future!!!
