For some, the idea of a remodel or renovation incites terror. For others, it’s the creative fuel to their fire.
Not too long ago, I began thinking about remodeling this site…it wasn’t reflecting the true nature of my work any longer and let’s face it, the photos were dated. I chatted with some friends about the possibility and they wholeheartedly agreed. Yep, it was time.
I started playing with ideas and knew I still wanted my site to look like “me.” But as much as I like a good reno, I was a wee bit nervous…until I had sassy photos taken and then reconnected with a designer I’d worked with in the past! I mentioned one idea to her and she flew with it. And somehow, she got inside my head and created a divine concept!
I’m still cooking and still entertaining at my house, but the projects are fewer and farther in between. If you’re a DIY lover, I hope you’ll still stick around. It’s still me, I’m just telling all sorts of stories now.
It’s a new day…
And I’m thrilled with the results of my remodel!

It’s lovely. Eventually, I’d like to get my own mug in my header too…but I’m going to wait until a leeetle bit more of the weight comes off. =) Love it though, I don’t even know you that well, & I can TOTALLY tell it’s “you.” perfection.
