My favorite thing about the Fall is eating copious amounts of pumpkin flavored food. It all started with pumpkin pie. Ya, it was good…but then I met it’s sister, pumpkin bread.
One year, my neighbor baked me a loaf of pumpkin bread for my birthday. If anyone in my family tried to take a bite, I’d stab them with a fork.
I don’t mess around, folks.
When I started cooking and also trying to live a healthier lifestyle (ya, right), I found some recipes that contained pureed pumpkin. I gave them a try and they seriously rocked my world!
Right now, my two favorites are pumpkin sponge cake and pumpkin cheesecake bars. You’re gonna want to do yourself a favor and try these!

My love for all things pumpkin doesn’t stop with food, though! While I don’t typically decorate for the seasons, much to my mother’s absolute chagrin, I did recently receive a sweet little plush pumpkin from my friends at LoveFeast Table when we were at the lake. I loved it SO MUCH, that as soon as I got home, I went to their shop and bought a couple more!
Aren’t they the cutest?!?! I loved all the color options and sizes and had a hard time choosing just which ones to buy! These cute little guys are incredibly well made and I know they’ll be a favorite part of Fall seasons to come.

Favorite fall dessert? My hubby makes Mountain Dew Apple Dumplings that are TO DIE FOR. I’m also a sucker for apple crisp and apple pie and pumpkin cheesecake, so I’ll have to try your cheesecake bar recipe!

My favorite dessert is pumpkin pie butter bars(no, diet friendly desserts here) or pumpkin pecan pie. Sadly, I’m the only in the house who enjoys pumpkin flavored anything!
Hmmm my fav fall dessert would be pecan pie. But it’s so sweet I can only handle small bits at a time.

I love pumpkin everything!! Just moved to LA from Minneapolis, so I’m being a bit thrown off in my Fall addictions. It still feels like Summer to me. I think I’ll have to work around it. Bring of the sweet spicy smells from the oven.
A pumpkin creme brulee is always nice…oh wait, I can’t decide, just give me a big slice of pumpkin pie with some bourbon laced whipped cream.

I just made this great pumpkin spice s’more dip yesterday for a Bible study & it was really yummy
But my usual fav is my husband’s homemade pumpkin roll. Or pumpkin whoopie pies 
Sweet Potato Pie AND Pecan Pie.. I love my mom’s peach cobbler too, but it doesn’t have to be exclusive to fall. Mmmmmmp mmn!
So far it’s pumpkin bread, but I am experimenting with new ideas this week so we’ll see!
